| Jadro: Loft Switchblade HD 9.5m2 Deska: JP Formula 100 168l Ocena: 4 First outing of the year in Portorož: enthusiasm sky high, wind... not so much. The first hour was a long floating meditation session: almost no wind, sporadic glides like UFO sightings ("I saw it! No, nothing, it was just a gust"). Deserved rating: **3**, but with encouragement. Meanwhile, it wasn't cold at all; in fact, it was so pleasant in the sun that I almost took off my swimming cap to let winter know I was there. Then, suddenly, a twist: a 5-minute gust worthy of a disaster movie. Extreme overpower, the kind of thing that made the formula and the big sail look at me as if to say, "OK, now you're exaggerating." Once the storm was over, the wind stabilized... more or less. Let's just say that I was often "at the limit," in that delicate balance between "what a thrill" and "if I make a mistake, they'll find me in Canegra." There were a few other water sports enthusiasts in the gulf: about three windsurfers and two Moths, but almost all of them had fled before the moderate wind arrived, which wasn't really moderate at all, more like a "dark bora with bad intentions." Second hour passed with a "grade of 5": not perfect, but definitely more lively.
